Oppo / Realme / OnePlus

These brands share ColorOS (Oppo/Realme) or OxygenOS (OnePlus) which have similar background restrictions. Follow all the steps below.

Step 1: Enable Auto-Startup​

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap App management (or Apps)
  3. Tap Auto-startup (or Startup manager)
  4. Find Auto Call Scheduler and enable it

Step 2: Disable Battery Optimization​

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap Battery
  3. Tap Battery optimization (or More settings > Optimize battery use)
  4. Change the dropdown to All apps
  5. Find Auto Call Scheduler
  6. Select Don't optimize

Step 3: Allow Background Activity​

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap App management (or Apps)
  3. Find and tap Auto Call Scheduler
  4. Tap Battery usage (or Power usage)
  5. Enable Allow background activity
  6. If available, select Allow background running

Step 4: Lock the App in Recent Apps​

  1. Open your recent apps
  2. Find Auto Call Scheduler
  3. Tap the three-dot menu (or long-press the app card)
  4. Tap Lock

Verify It's Working​

  1. Create a test schedule set 2-3 minutes in the future
  2. Close the app completely (swipe from recent apps)
  3. Lock your phone
  4. Wait for the scheduled time
  5. If the call triggers, your settings are correct
