Other Brands

If your phone brand is not listed in this section, follow these general steps. Most Android manufacturers have similar settings under slightly different names.

Step 1: Disable Battery Optimization​

  1. Open Settings
  2. Search for "battery optimization" or "battery usage"
  3. Find Auto Call Scheduler
  4. Set it to Don't optimize (or Unrestricted)

Step 2: Enable Autostart (if available)​

  1. Open Settings
  2. Search for "autostart" or "startup manager"
  3. If your device has this setting, enable it for Auto Call Scheduler

Step 3: Check Background Restrictions​

  1. Open Settings
  2. Tap Apps (or App management)
  3. Find and tap Auto Call Scheduler
  4. Look for Battery or Background restriction settings
  5. Make sure background activity is allowed

Step 4: Lock in Recent Apps (if supported)​

  1. Open your recent apps
  2. Find Auto Call Scheduler
  3. Try long-pressing or swiping down on the card to lock it

Step 5: Use the In-App Device Guidance​

  1. Open Auto Call Scheduler
  2. Tap the hamburger menu (top-left)
  3. If Device Guidance appears, tap it and follow the on-screen instructions

Verify It's Working​

  1. Create a test schedule set 2-3 minutes in the future
  2. Close the app completely (swipe from recent apps)
  3. Lock your phone
  4. Wait for the scheduled time
  5. If the call triggers, your settings are correct
