Share & Import Data

Share & Import Data lets you export your schedules to a file that you can share, store, or import on another device.

note

This is different from Cloud Sync. Cloud Sync backs up automatically to your Google account. Share & Import Data creates a local file you control.

Premium Feature

Share & Import Data requires a Premium subscription.

How to Access

Open the hamburger menu and tap Share & Import Data.

Device Storage

Before you can export or manage files, you need to select a storage folder on your device:

  1. Tap Choose Folder
  2. Pick any folder on your device using the system file picker
  3. The status updates to show your selected folder name
  4. The selected folder is remembered across app restarts

All exported files are saved to this folder, and the app scans it to show your existing files under Local Files.

Exporting

  1. Open Share & Import Data
  2. Make sure a folder is selected (see above)
  3. Tap Export Schedules
  4. The app creates a file in your selected folder containing all your schedules, settings, and app configuration

The file is named with the current date and time (e.g. 20251209_105236_acs.json) and can be imported on any device running Auto Call Scheduler.

Importing

  1. Open Share & Import Data
  2. Your existing files appear under Local Files
  3. Tap Import on the file you want to restore
  4. Confirm the action in the dialog
warning

Importing replaces all your current schedules with the data from the file. This action cannot be undone. Make sure you export your current schedules first if you want to keep them.

Sharing a File

You can share any file with another person or save it to a cloud storage service:

  1. Swipe left on a file in the list to reveal actions
  2. Tap Share
  3. Choose a messaging app, email, cloud storage, or any other sharing option

Deleting a File

  1. Swipe left on a file in the list to reveal actions
  2. Tap Delete
  3. Confirm the deletion in the dialog

The file is permanently removed from your device.

File Validation

The app automatically checks each file when loading the list. If a file looks corrupted or unreadable, a warning message appears on that item. You can still try to import it, but the results may be incomplete.
