Cloud Sync & Sign-In Issues
Common Problems
| Problem | What to Do |
|---|---|
| "No internet connection" message | Connect to Wi-Fi or mobile data and try again. Your schedules are safe locally. |
| "Sign-in session expired" | Sign in again from the hamburger menu → account area. |
| "Cloud sync failed" | Your schedules are safe on this device. Try syncing again later. |
| Schedules not appearing after restore | Make sure the restore completed. Check the schedule list and wait a moment. |
| Can't see "Sync now" in the menu | You need to be signed in first. Sign in from the hamburger menu. |
| Sign-in button not responding | Check your internet connection. Try restarting the app. |
| Wrong Google account | Sign out (hamburger menu → account area → Sign Out), then sign in with the correct account. |
tip
Your local schedules are always safe on your phone, regardless of any cloud sync issues. Cloud sync is an additional layer of protection.
Forcing a Manual Sync
If auto-sync doesn't seem to be working:
- Go to the schedule list (main screen)
- Tap the
three-dot menu
- Tap "Sync now"
- Check the account screen (hamburger menu → account area) to verify the last sync time updated
Switching Sync Modes
If you chose Manual sync and want to switch to Auto-sync (or vice versa):
- Sign out (hamburger menu → account area → Sign Out)
- Sign in again
- The app will ask you to choose your sync mode again
Data After Signing Out
When you sign out:
- Local schedules stay on your phone. Nothing is deleted
- Cloud sync stops
- Your cloud data remains stored and is available if you sign in again
Restoring on a New Device
If you're having trouble restoring schedules on a new phone:
- Make sure you sign in with the same Google account used on the old device
- When prompted, choose "Restore Schedules" (not "Start Fresh")
- Wait for the restore to complete, then check the schedule list
