Schedule List Overview
The schedule list is the first thing you see when you open Auto Call Scheduler. It shows all your scheduled calls with their status, timing, and key settings.
What You See on Each Schedule Card
Every schedule in the list shows:
- Title: the name you gave the schedule
- Contact name and phone number
- Scheduled date and time
- Status: active, passive, completed, or failed
- Feature icons: small icons indicating which features are enabled
Status Indicator Icons
The small icons on each card tell you at a glance what's configured:
| Icon | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Auto Call mode. Call is placed automatically | |
| Call Reminder mode. You'll get a reminder first | |
| Speaker will be turned on during the call | |
| Schedule repeats on a pattern | |
| Auto-hangup is enabled | |
| Ring before call is enabled | |
| In-call notes attached | |
| Call conflict protection is on | |
| Schedule is synced to the cloud |
Schedule States
| State | What It Means |
|---|---|
| Active | The schedule is armed and will trigger at the set time |
| Passive | The schedule is paused and won't trigger until you reactivate it |
| Completed | The scheduled call has already been placed |
| Failed | Something went wrong when the schedule tried to trigger. See below for common causes |
Why a Schedule Can Fail
A schedule enters the Failed state when the app could not place the call at the scheduled time. Common reasons:
- Call permission was revoked. Some Android devices automatically revoke permissions for apps you haven't used recently. Without the Phone permission, the app cannot place calls. Re-grant it in your phone's Settings and reschedule.
- Phone was powered off. If your device was turned off when the schedule was supposed to trigger, the app marks it as failed on the next boot. Repeating schedules are automatically rescheduled to the next occurrence; one-time schedules are marked as failed.
- Call Reminder could not be shown. If the schedule uses Call Reminder mode and the notification could not be displayed (for example, notification permission was revoked or the system blocked it), the schedule fails.
- Schedule data could not be loaded. In rare cases, the app may not be able to read the schedule from the database at trigger time.
If you see a failed schedule, check Permissions Issues and Calls Not Triggering for steps to fix the underlying problem. You can then reschedule it.
Quick Actions on Each Card
Each schedule card has action buttons on the right side. The buttons change depending on the schedule's state:
| State | Button | Action |
|---|---|---|
| Active | Pauses the schedule (moves it to Passive) | |
| Passive (future time) | Reactivates the schedule so it triggers at its scheduled time | |
| Passive | Deletes the schedule |
The Play button only appears on passive schedules whose scheduled time is still in the future. Completed and failed schedules do not show a Play button. To reschedule them, tap the card to open the editor and set a new date and time.
Tap anywhere else on the card to open it in the schedule editor for editing.
