Background Reliability

Some Android phones restrict background apps to save battery. These restrictions can stop scheduled calls from triggering on time.

The Background reliability screen checks the settings that matter for your phone and shows what needs attention.

How To Open It

Open the hamburger menu and tap Background reliability.

This menu item appears only on phones where the app has specific guidance.

What The Screen Shows

The screen can show checks such as:

  • Phone call permission
  • Display over other apps
  • Battery optimization
  • Auto-start or background launch settings
  • Lock screen display settings

Each row shows its current status. Tap a row to open the related Android settings page.

Supported Phone Guidance

The app includes specific guidance for:

  • Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco
  • Samsung
  • Vivo

Other Android phones may still have battery or background settings, but the exact names can vary.

Xiaomi, Redmi, And Poco

For Xiaomi, Redmi, and Poco phones, check these settings:

  1. Background auto start: Settings → Apps → Background auto start → Auto Call Scheduler → On. If you do not see it, use Settings → Apps → Manage apps → Auto Call Scheduler → Autostart.
  2. App battery saver: Settings → Battery → App battery saver → Auto Call Scheduler → No restrictions.
  3. Recent apps lock: Recent apps → Auto Call Scheduler card → Lock.

After Updating Settings

Return to Auto Call Scheduler and tap Recheck Permissions if the screen provides that option.

If everything is ready, the app shows that your scheduled calls are protected.
